Smoking cigarettes is one of the most common habits in the word. About a billion and a half of the world's population are smokers, and while some of them smoke cigarettes others may choose cigars, the exact numbers are not known. Lately smoking cigars is getting more and more popular as the mage of a person smoking a Cuban cigar has been glamorized by films and advertising, but it can be dangerous for cigarette smokers to switch. The danger lies in the fact cigarette smokers usually inhale the smoke - and they can do the same with cigars, which is not recommended as cigar smoke can be more irritating. Cigar smoke is usually not inhaled. There are different brands of cigarettes, each one with a distinctive taste, image and target auditory. Some cigarette braids are aimed at women (Vogue), while others can be advertised in a way that implies the sex, age and image of the person smoking them (Marlboro). Other brands may be more neutral in their approach to the potential auditory and try to cater for the taste of both sexes and all ages, making traditional and slim cigarettes. The brands that are recognized as leaders in the market of tobacco products include such names as Marlboro, Camel, Lucky Strike, Winston and Parliament.
